Step 1: Begin with a clean, freshly washed face. Cleansing ensures that your skin is free of dirt and impurities, allowing the serum to penetrate effectively.

Step 2: Gently pat your skin dry with a clean towel. Be sure not to rub, as this can irritate the skin.

Step 3: Now, it's time to apply the EAA serum. Here's how:

• Under Each Eye: Place one drop of the serum under each eye. Use your ring finger to lightly tap and blend the serum into the delicate skin around your eyes. Avoid getting the serum into your eyes.

• Forehead: Apply one drop of the serum to your forehead. Smooth it evenly across your entire forehead using gentle upward motions.

• Each Cheek: Dispense one drop onto each cheek. Use your fingertips to massage the serum into your skin, moving in upward and outward motions.

About this Vitamin C Solution

L-ascorbic acid (LAA), commonly known as vitamin C, has been widely used in topical formulations for many years as an antioxidant and anti-aging ingredient. However, the physicochemical properties of LAA are not optimal for skin uptake and the molecule is also unstable, readily undergoing oxidation on exposure to air. The compound 3-O-Ethyl-L-Ascorbic Acid (EAA) has been developed as a stable vitamin C derivative in Sokörpe’s laboratory and is infused into this topical product.

3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic acid is manufactured through purification and separation of 3-O-alkyl ascorbyl, each using-step process from the Vitamin C.

The anti-oxidant property of Vitamin C and its role in boosting collagen synthesis have long made Vitamin C a vital molecule for skin health. Studies have shown that Vitamin C performs to prevent and treat ultraviolet (UV)-induced photoaging by protecting the skin from damage caused by the sunlight. The damage from UV radiation on skin is due, in part, to the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) which causes immediate inflammation and sunburn reaction to chronic effects such as photoaging. Excessive ROS can stimulate inflammatory response and collagen degradation leading to premature aging skin and wrinkle formation. To evaluate the effectiveness of the sunscreen products with and without Sokörpe’s Super Boost™ 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) was determined on human skin as a modification of the method defined by the FDA Sunscreen Final Rule. 22 subjects were enrolled; L* and a* values of the skin were detected 24 hours post UVB exposure. The results show that sunscreen product with 3%* of Sokörpe’s Super Boost™ 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid can significantly enhance the ability of UV protection (L* value +24.08%, a* value -27-96%), suggesting that Sokörpe’s Super Boost™ 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, as a topical antioxidant supplement can help improve the performance of sunscreen products.
